Alpine swift

The Alpine swift in Spain is a summer visitor (Mar-Oct). Winters in Subsaharan Africa. Found chiefy in east, particularly in Catalonia, where it seems to be increasing. Not common. 5,000-10,000 pairs. Breeds in Melilla.
