Casa de Piñeiro is an old house that has been restored while respecting its original design. The cottage has all the traditional flavour, charm and appealing features of a Galician house without forgetting the comforts of modern life. Located in a tranquil environment, visitors can enjoy the beautiful landscapes and the peace and quiet of the countryside. The house is surrounded by a garden and open fields. Guest can have lunch in the shade of a chestnut tree or have a sleep under the hundred-year-old fig tree or the old oak tree. Or just sit idly in the garden in the sunshine. The quiet afternoons are only broken by the sound of birdsong.

• Two floors.
• Ground floor: warm kitchen, a sitting room, a bathroom and a huge living room (60 metres square) which used to be one of the old stables.
• Big Galician farmhouse fireplace
• Living room has large table and benches, two armchairs, a sofa and two fires
• Fully fitted bathroom next to the sitting room.
• Garden has high hedge, which provides complete privacy
• Upstairs are three double rooms (one of them with twin beds) furnished with old restored furniture. There is also a bathroom upstairs.

• Rolling Galician countryside all around.
• Santiago de Compostela (15 minutes drive) medieval town, with its stunning cathedral, where thousands of pilgrims come to visit the tomb of Santiago Apostle.
• Don't miss a day trip to Costa da Morte, 'at the end of the world' as the Galicians say, with: Fisterra, amazing views of the sea at Vilán Cape or the cliffs in Touriñán Cape, the westernmost point of Spain.
• 45 minutes drive to A Coruña, a modern city with a beautiful old town and the oldest Roman lighthouse still in use 'Torre de Hércules, recently nominated as a World Heritage Site.
• White sandy beaches in As Rías Baixas, 1hour drive.
