Fat birder on Valancia Excellent – Valencia is a privileged place for birding. It has a long coast and in the interior there are still some wild and well protected steep, rocky and wooded mountains with rivers crossing the terrain creating a diverse mix of habitats. On the coastal plains is another important ecosystems with wetlands and farmland (mostly vegetables and orange groves). The mild climate, and the clear influence of the Mediterranean sea, form a specific and diverse fauna, very interesting for Europe.
