Cabrera’s vole

Cabrera’s vole: topillo de Cabrera Microtus cabrerae

Almost an Iberian endemic (present also in a small slither of the French Basque Country) Cabrera’s vole is found in areas with a Mediterranean climate. Unlike other voles, its population is not affected by sharp cyclical fluctuations. Threatened by loss of habitat.
