Top 20 birds in British Gardens 2006

In the 2006 Big Garden Birdwatch, a total of 8,103,298 birds were recorded in 270,032 gardens or parks. It was a good year overall, with 15 of the top 20 increasing in numbers. The watchers spent an hour counting the birds in their garden and their records provide a valuable snapshot of the UK's garden birds.
