Webcam of swallows in Barcelona

Lighting is best between at midday (between 12am 2pm, GMT+1). Outside these times, the light diminishes rapidly

The nest is in located in the patio of a private house in the old district of Sants.

The installation of this webcam has been possible thanks to the help and kindness of Enric Font and family and a grant from Caixa Tarragona. The initiative forms part of the Swallow Project (Projecte Oreneta) promoted by Barcelona City Council. The pair of swallows appeared on 22 April 2007. They built their nest at the end of April and the beginning of May. The eggs were laid in the fourth week in May. On Sunday 27 May there were 5 eggs.
