Yermo Yurt Retreat ( various persons)
Website - email
A self-catering yurt lodge set in a natural park, amongst some of the most beautiful countryside in the Ebro Valley. Surrounded by mountains, pine woodland, olives, figs and an endless array of wild flowers (including the lesser spotted bee orchid) it is a truly idyllic escape.
The yurts are hand-made, bentwood oak with thick, cotton canvas skins. They have a central crown which can be opened to the sky, so there's a real sense of sleeping outdoors - without sacrificing comfort.
They can accommodate up to 4 people, have private bathrooms, with up-to-date composting toilets, private kitchens and a dining area.
The retreat has a magnificent natural pool, using only aquatic plants to clean it.
We are very much off the grid, all power is either solar or turbine generated and we have a natural farm where we grow most of our food.
It is perfect for walkers, ornithologists or anyone who loves genuine wild, countryside - there are no road or 'modern noises' here.
The 17acre finca looks down onto a recently restored monastery, and there are breathtaking views over the national park with its endless peaks.
We are 20mins drive from the Ebro Delta wetlands.
10mins from the nearest town, Rasquera.
