This beautiful traditional inn is located in the heart of the medieval centre of Trujillo .
The hotel is located inside the walled city, after the Santiago Arch in Calle Cambrones, right next to Santa María la Mayor. The name of the street dated back from the 14th century when Doña Evangélica, an impoverished woman of noble birth, started the first linen and silk weaving workshop in the village here. In one of the windows, one can still see a humble coat with the arms of the daughters, who married noblemen and left for the Indies .
