This comfortable friendly hotel with spectacular views has 12 double bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms. There is a delightful bar lounge plus a panoramic lounge with a small library as well as terraces and gardens making the hotel an ideal place to relax.

The restaurant open exclusively for guests serves excellent imaginative home cooking with an emphasis on the use of organic and local produce.

Due to the hotels strategic location close to mountains such as the Picos de Europa, the Cantabrian Sea and rivers there is a wide range of activities available such as walking, wild flowers swimming etc. An extensive range of self guided walks and maps are available from the hotel and we also provide detailed information on the area.

Hotel Posada del Valle is situated in its own 8 Hectare certified organic farm. It is managed to develop, rich wildlife habitats and in particular wildflower meadows, and integrate this with low intensity farming, producing commercial crops of lamb, breeding the indigenous sheep "xaldas" and cider apples, as well as producing fresh fruit and vegetables for the hotel restaurant. There are over 10 different species of orchid on the farm, over 46 species of butterfly including 6 species of fritillaries and 2 species of swallowtail have been recorded and 58 species of birds have also been recorded.
