Run by a Spanish and English couple Pilar Saiz and Jim Thomson, the Hotel Torrecerredo is located just 3 minutes walk from the centre of the village of Arenas de Cabrales in the Picos de Europa, Northern Spain. It is a great place from which to explore the Picos de Europa National Park or the beautiful beaches and fishing ports of Northern Spain. The Hotel offers stunning views of the Picos de Europa and offers a wide range of activities for those with a more adventurous spirit.

Facilities

The hotel was completely refurbished in 1992. There are 19 en-suite bedrooms each fitted with TV, telephone and central heating for the colder months. Each room has been individually decorated. There is a pleasant garden terrace bar, ideal for relaxing after a log day, from where you can enjoy stunning views of the high Picos a few kilometres to the south, including the highest peak in the Picos, the " Torre de Cerredo ", after which the hotel is named.

Restaurant

Each day the Hotel offers a different set menu including local specializes such as Fabada Asturiana, chickpea stew, and the famous blue cheese "Queso Cabrales". All evening meals are served in our panoramic dining room and are accompanied by wine. Breakfast is buffet style and includes cereals, fruit juice, tea or coffee, "Sobaos", toast & marmalade. If you like, you can also order scrambled eggs. For those who want a packed lunch for the days activities, we can provide a good sized roll with various fillings, a piece of fruit and a bar of chocolate.

Activities

The owners have a wide experience of activities and tourism in Northern Spain and can offer advice on almost anything in either Spanish or English.
