The Finca
“Las Guardias” is a 16 Ha finca of mixed woodland with organic vegetable garden bordered by two ravines. Within the finca there is a wide variety of plants and habitats as well as several private footpaths. Our own ecologically built home is situated near the entrance with the yurt a further 5 mins. Walk.
The Yurt
5 Meters in diameter, was built in Spain by Uzbek craftsmen with a cotton canvas cover and steamed ash poles
The Yurt is sited in a private shady spot with its own solar panel, cooking and washing facilities and a compost toilet.
The surrounding area
Within walking distance are a number of abandoned villages, lanes, rivers and woodlands to explore. The area is rich in flora and fauna... 8 miles away is the district capital Graus, worth visiting for its beautiful plaza mayor. Further afield - the national park of Ordesa and Monte perdido, Posets and Maladeta and the Sierra de Guara.
Booking and general information
The accommodation if for two persons and is non smoking. Sheets and bedding are provided but not towels. It is not suitable for small children. Fires are strictly forbidden
No pets are allowed. Access is by foot and takes about 10 minutes – help will be available when you arrive to bring in luggage and shopping ect. A 12v solar system is installed for lighting with car cigarette lighter type connection to charge a mobile phone. All waste generated is separated on site to be recycled or composted.

A deposit of 100 euros confirms the booking paid into co-op account 02148274 00 sort code 08-93-00 balance payable in cash on arrival.
Directions
Las Guardias is situated 15 km from the town of Graus . 100 km from Huesca. Detailed directions will be sent by e-mail on booking. Public transport is available as far as Graus, where we can pick you up.
