Casa Pete y Lou (various persons) Website - email We are situated in the S.E. corner of the picturesque Tremp Valley. Enjoy comfortable and relaxed Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the tranquil surroundings of our mountain nest. Our water is from the mountainside our power from the sun and our bread jams and pickles all homemade. The garden and terraces overlook fields and mountain forests, there's no traffic noise just the sound of birds and insects flitting around . We are on the edge of the Montsec Nature Reserve with its fantastic gorges attracting climbers, walkers and birdwatchers alike. It is not far to the Beaumort Nature Reserve and a scenic drive away from the spectacular Aigues Tortes National Park in the high Pyrenees. The Tremp valley is renowned to palaeontologists for its egg remains and many fossils and geologists are baffled by the incredible rock formations. Alpine and Mediterranean flora and fauna mix here to give a surprisingly good all year round interest. Nearby lakes and pools invite a plunge in the heat of summer, take a gentle canoe ride or enjoy the Noguera river white water rafting. This area is really worth a visit.
